"Caspar Grauballe worked with the Management Team and the Club Council on various projects on both the Old Course and Cashen Course at Ballybunion Golf Club from 2008 to 2012.
During this time a master plan for the Cashen Course was created and accepted and a three year plan for the development of the Old Course was put in place.
We found Caspar to be efficient, creative and always mindful of the need to protect the integrity of the courses. His ability to interface with members and staff at all levels was excellent".

"Falkenbergs GC is a 27 hole course build in stages from the 1960’s up to today. The greens were renovated during 1995 to 2005, but nothing else was done to the course. During the last years the need for a review and modernisation of the course has become evident as the competition to attract players has increased.
The club started in 2011 working towards a masterplan and after a design competition between 5 different golf course architects we chose Caspar Grauballe. The competition consisted of preparing proposals for two individual holes on the course and here Caspar showed a clear vision and solutions which we found appealing. His idea for a different tee and bunker design is very much in agreement with what the members had expressed a wish for through a member survey.
Caspar has already introduced ideas about strengthening the heath-land character of the course through developing more heather and pine trees which will give us a course which will become much talked about.
With Caspar’s long experience as an associate of the legendary course architect Martin Hawtree we feel very confident in our choice of golf course architect".

Testimonials
"We have had the pleasure of working with Caspar Grauballe during for the forming of Vallda Golf & Country Club.
Caspar was working for Martin Hawtree and was in charge of our project from the very first meeting and until the course opened for play.
Caspar brought the highest level of professionalism to the project and helped us achieve our goal of building a top quality golf course and staying within our budget. Caspar is very open minded and he took on our ideas and developed a fantastic design for our golf course.
During the construction of the course Caspar showed great talent and craftsmanship, as he worked with the contractor to ensure that every feature of the golf course was shaped to fit the design and the surrounding landscape. The result is a golf course which looks beautiful from every angle.
Caspar has created a great golf course which has proved successful in a very competitive market. The players love the course and that is the foundation of our club.
We would strongly recommend him to anyone seeking a golf course architect".

"I first met Casper in 2008/09 when he was working with Martin Hawtree who was employed to carry out work prior to the Walker Cup Match in 2011.
Royal Aberdeen Golf Club had a long term development plan in place to upgrade the bunkering, review the greens complexes with a view to creating more challenge on certain holes and to extend the length of the course with tee extensions.
Over the past 4-5 years we have carried out several changes to the links to improve its playability and to ensure that it keeps pace with the modern game. All projects that were undertaken were directed by Casper.
His attention to detail is excellent. Casper would always look at other areas of the golf course to get a feel of how the new changes/alterations would fit into the overall look of the golf course.
In 2009/10 we added new bunkers to the 1st,16th and 18th holes. This was done for the Walker Cup to add to the challenge of these holes for the world’s top amateur golfers. The end product was superb with the bunker work blending perfectly with the existing terrain and looking like they had been there for many years.
In 2011 the club sanctioned a complete re-build of the 15th green and 16th tee complex. Casper presented drawings and plans that made it very easy for members to imagine what the new green would look like. The new green has had universal praise from all members and visitors. It has been blended in perfectly to the surrounding area and he has managed to virtually hide the 16th tee from view even although it sits directly behind the green. We have since had plans drawn up to re-build the greens at 2,3,12,13 and 18.
I have thoroughly enjoyed working with Casper over the past few years. He has a very keen eye for detail and will not leave anything unless it is perfect.
I would have no hesitation in employing Casper in the future as he will ensure quality work every time".
